Quicken crashes, hangs or loops

If Quicken cannot find your current data file during startup it should just
simply load the program and give you either a nearly blank menu screen or one
that has options to start as new user, restore from backup, etc.

reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. Does the program not pop up at all? Have you tried restarting your computer and opening it up again? Could you potentially check for me if the program is open in Task Manager. If you click on the windows icon in the bottom left and type in task manager. In the bottom left can you click on more details if it's not selected already. Click on the tab at the top that says details and see if QW.EXE is running. If it is click on it and end process in the bottom right. Once you do that go ahead and try opening quicken again.
