can you do a search within only one column, like "category" or "memo/notes"?

Yes, you can search by one column. Click in the search box, then click the magnifying glass icon. A list will pop up letting you restrict the search to one column.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s6

yes; I thought it might narrow the search down and save time if you could filter the search by column0

Click on All Transactions and then put your item name in the search field at the top right of the register. This should narrow it down. You might already know this!0
