how do you update an Account/Institution user ID in the password vault?

I see plenty of info on the change of passwords in the vault and I can do those. What I don't find is how to change the user ID for an institution or account. Recently had to change some account user IDs, but not able to get this info into the PW vault.

Modern versions of Quicken for Mac (2010 and later) do not use a password vault.

If they are Direct Connect accounts, then you update those passwords in the MacOS Keychain Access where they are stored/encrypted. That application is in your Applications/Utilities folder.

Quicken Connected accounts, however, must be updated from within the Quicken program. You would update those via Window:Account Status. Click on Update Passwords at the lower right:

My apologies; you have this marked as Quicken for Mac:

(I have flagged to have it changed.)

In QWin you must delete the entry in the vault and re-create it.

Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.
