Is it possible for me to Login to my Quicken account on 2 different machines?

Options
I have my main Quicken account logged into my main PC. I downloaded and installed the Mac version into my OS X 10.11 Virtual Machine another PC in my house... It pretty much locks me out because I had already activated the PC version. I had previously been using Quicken H&B 2017, but I never tried it with that. I had to downgrade to Quicken Deluxe just days before my H&B EOL'd. Could I do this if I had H&B or Premium? If not, it's OK.

    I figured this out!

In order to set up a secondary Quicken installation, you cannot be logged into either your "my-account" or your Windows Quicken application. That's what was preventing me from logging into my Mac Quicken. Once I logged out of all Quicken apps (including my Mobile app), I was able to log into the mac Quicken app. It of course has to convert the QDF file from Windows to Mac format.

(Actually, this also happens when I try to login my Quicken account on 2 different browsers or machines, I'm only allowed one login at a time. This does not affect Mobile Quicken though, I can log in there.)

The only "Quicken Account" is your account on their website that holds your subscription information and previous purchases.
Once your subscription is activated there, you can download and install Quicken on as many computers (Win, Mac or both) as you want.  The only caveat is that they will all have to be associated with that same Quicken account.
You do not try to use the installation CD (if bought that way) or the activation code again, only for the first computer.
So, having read your posts thru multiple times, I am not sure where you are having an issue, but maybe my explanation makes how it works clearer.

I downloaded Quicken for Mac from my account page, I installed it into my Mac virtual machine, Which is for all intents and purposes an actual Mac installation. but when I try to login with my account ( Within the app), that’s when it gives me the message from the image...

But as I said it also happened to me when I tried to open a second browser window on my second PC to my my-account page.

I will keep trying, it’s probably some glitch

I am having the same issue. Contacted customer service and they created a ticket. Hopefully it resolved. QMac is still no where close to the windows version, and I only downloaded bootcamp just to use QWindows.

Maybe it is an issue with Quicken for Mac, when you tried to login to yours were you doing it from an initial activation? Because I activated my windows version first, maybe it needs to be activated before it can be used.

Boot Camp is pretty good though, the best Windows Machines I have used were all on MacBook pros and on iMacs. It’s like you have to have a Ryzen5 or above just to run windows these days...

I am running a virtual machine on my second PC And that’s an i5 with 16gb Ram. The Mac virtual machine runs better than the windows PC.

But I don’t trust it I have already had to re-create my virtual machine twice, i’m getting a Mac pro soon, I can’t wait to hook that up into my system.

This is why I haven’t called in yet, I want to get a real Mac running first, once I get that set up and Quicken installed it should be a lot easier to deal with.

I appreciate all the replies, I’m pretty sure I know what to do but I just wanted to see if anybody else had this happen and if they did what quicken help had to say about it.

I will leave this unsolved until you get your reply, let me know what they say.

I activated Quicken for Mac first. They said that it has been an issue with people that use two operating systems. I hope they have a solution since I prefer using quicken for windows.

Also, bootcamp windows works flawlessly, at least so far. I've only been using it for excel and basic computing. I do all my programming and other stuff on my MacBook Pro.
