Category not showing up after merge

I recently merged two similar categories. The category shows up under the edit categories screen. The category does not show up when entering a transaction however. How do I get the category to show up under in the transaction field?

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your question, although I apologize that you haven't received a response.

    So far, I have been unable to recreate this issue. May I ask that you capture a screenshot of the category in question under the category list?

    Then, may I ask that you capture a screenshot of the category not populating when you enter a new transaction?

    Please note that if you do not have the option to click the picture icon to add an attachment, just drag and drop the image to the comment box on the Community.
