Must I continue with Quicken Home & Business?

I'm currently running Quicken H&B 2017, which has just expired. I don't use any of the business features, such as invoicing. Nor do I keep track of investments. Am I required to continue with this version, or can I downgrade to Basic?

You can downgrade.  Your data will still be there but you lose some of the business features and reports.

I note that you don't keep track of investments in Q ... but you should be aware that Q "Starter Edition" can't track investments, of any kind.
    ALSO, it has other limitations.
SO, I'd suggest that you review this comparison of the various QWin products and see which fits your needs, and budget, the best.
Be sure to scroll ALL THE WAY down the webpage to see all functionality.

Mainly I need to keep track of one credit card, several client deposits maintained in Other Liabilities and create a balance sheet and income statement. If I downgrade and it's not appropriate, and I have to go back to Home & Business, will I need to pay both upgrade charges?
