Downloads from Tangerine and Capital One Accounts

Downloads from Tangerine and Capital One Accounts fail to download even though indications are that downloads were successful. This has been on going since last Nov

    Quicken is unable to ..........

    I have been using this workaround.

    1. Open the downloaded file with TextEdit
    2. Find the field :”FI><INTU.BID>10951”
    3. Change the “10951” to a number that works. (You can find a number that works from another download from a different financial institution. I use 00005.)
    4. Reopen the file, you should see

    1 Account Found
    Add or link the accounts you would like added to Quicken.

    With the drop boxes displayed you should be able to link the file to the account you want. The Action dropbox should display your existing accounts.
    5. In future, you just need to download, change the FI>INTU.BID> field and reopen.
