Performance when Internet Inaccessible

I notice a number of complaints on this forum about poor performance or no performance when Quicken is started without access to the internet. I have the same issue since QBM was implemented. It seems to me that this is a no brainer - I should be able to perform all operations not requiring inernet access with no performance degradation. I am using the most up-to-date version (R 29.12); when is this going to be fixed?

I would recommend disabling your Network Adapter before starting Quicken. If the Network Adapter is enabled, Quicken looks for an internet connection.Quicken Subscription HBRP - Windows 101
