Does your avatar have a story?

In another forum I'm in, someone asked the members to explain their avatars. There are many more interesting avatars there than there are here, but maybe some of yours have stories.
Here's mine:
In our previous home, the squirrels outnumbered the birds at the feeder. We finally gave up and threw shelled peanuts to the squirrels. This one developed the habit of coming to the back door to beg for nuts. Or sometimes to the shelf outside the kitchen window where we had a flowerpot.
Where we live now, it's a bit too wild to feed the local fauna. Airborne predators would turn our backyard into a buffet.
Got a story to share?

The only thing that's missing from my avatar is my glasses.  Otherwise, it's not a bad representation of me.

Just my dog Rocky who loves chasing the squirrels!  He is 12 3/4 and is going downhill fast. We might not have long to go.  2020 is not a good year.  Just Had a death in family and my in-laws are 93 and not well either.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

This isn’t my avatar, but would be appropriate for Rocket J Squirrel to use for his collection.

Nope, those are supposed to be my eyes.  Which, in reality, are blue.

As we get older, our hair starts to thin.  (In reality, this was the best graphic that I could find for my beard .... which is a VanDyke).
A goatee is the chin only,  so a VanDyke is a goatee with a mustache.  My beard does NOT go up my jawline ... but what can one do about graphics?

I'm still hoping to learn about @UKR 's gnome and @Chris_QPW 's inverted flag...

I have had different avatar's over the years, but this is the one I use now, mostly since I have been retired, since 2008, at least being paid. I always thought that when you retire you will have time to just relax. Well, so far that hasn't happened, I work just as much or more, but the pay is out of this world  B)

The story about my avatar is that occasionally I shoot off my mouth before the brain can clamp it shut. As a result, I end up in hot water, up to my neck ...
As the old saying goes, "Put brain in gear before opening mouth!"
I try to remember that, but I'm not always successful!
The original image was taken from a newspaper report I saw many years ago, where a garden gnome was surprised by flash flooding after a heavy rain storm. I added the speech bubble and I've used it as my avatar ever since.

My inverted flag store is pretty boring.  When I created ImportQIF/QuicknPerlWiz.com I needed an icon for it.  I decided that a US flag would be nice, but I'm terrible at making such things so grabbed an image off the Internet, but I didn't want to just "steal it", so I "inverted" the colors.

And I thought that was @Chris_QPW 's way of saying that Quicken distressed him - without flipping the flag upside down.
