Is My Data Secure?

I'd like to use the convenience of Quicken Mobility but I am concerned about the security of my financial information. Cloud storage can be hacked, my desktop less so. Is there information on the Quicken website about their security protocols?

Thanks for the prompt response. It appears that the security protocols offer protection for downloads from financial institutions, do the same protocols protect my data which is stored on Quicken servers?

Thanks for the update. The first article I linked talks about the security behind the mobile app. I'll also leave the contents of the article down below.

    1. Secure Socket Layer (SSL), technology to secure the transmission of financial information from your financial institution into Quicken, and encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the internet.
    2. Financial Institution passwords are never saved on your mobile device.
    3. Your Quicken Cloud ID password is not saved on your mobile device.
    4. All Quicken data stored on your mobile device is encrypted, so it is unreadable without the special decryption key.
    5. Tokens and other critical information are saved in the Apple Keychain secure location (Quicken for Mac).
This should help you get a bit more information about the mobile app and how it works. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Quicken Francisco

I don't think the original question has been answered.  The original question is really about is the data on the server secure.

I went looking for the article that I've seen in the past but couldn't find it really quickly so I will just State what I read there.  The Quicken servers use Bank level encryption and protocols to secure your data.  That's about all they're going to say they're not going to give any real details on exactly what that means no more than what your bank would tell you about how they store your data.  I do remember also a post I don't think it was an article then mentioned that the data centers are of course set up with limited access for the personnel and all that stuff.  So basically you could probably consider it is the secure it's going to be in this world of hacking and all that.

Only you can judge if that is secure enough for you.

Personally my bigger concern for using Quicken mobile or web would be is it going to corrupt my data file or not.

Luckily I have no real need for such a remote access using Quicken.
