how do I turn off update home value alerts?

I keep geting an alert icon on my properties to update the value. I don't want to do that. But I cant get rid of the alert icon unless I do the update.

Could it be that you're getting these alerts because you have checked "Use Zestimate by Zillow" in your property's asset account? If so, go into Edit Account Details for the property account in Quicken and uncheck the "Use Zestimate ..." box.

thx but no. I checked not to use Zillow...which is why I'm confused. Because its trying to force me to update with zillow essentially. Even though the box is unchecked.
  • Hello @joedisanto

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. I was taking a look to see if I could take a look but to make sure could we get a screenshot of the issue you're having.  This will help better illustrate the issue a bit better. One also showing any additional settings.

Once we have a screenshot we'll see what we can find and I'll see what we can do.

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco

here are a couple screenshots. you can see the alert icons. i cant dismiss them, and the only way forward is to do a zillow estimate. But I dont have the zillow thing checked at the account level.

I suggest that you turn on the Zillow estimate, and then select check for updates.
At the bottom of that dialog is this:

There is a setting for None.  Select that, and the "Update your property value".  And you deal with that update (delete it if you like).  Go back in and turn off the Zillow estimate option.

P.S. you might want to edit your comment and remove the screenshot(s) with the address if it is a real address.

Don't worry. Just a few minutes ago, a Community moderator edited your images to remove the street address.

Just for future reference.  In upper right of each comment there is a gear icon.  Click on that to get a selection to edit the comment.  You have 24 hours to edit a comment.
