The program put an account named NON into my investment account and added a lot of money to it and I can't get rid of it. How can I get rid of it?

Your terminology is very confusing.  How can you have an account inside another account ... that makes no sense.
Do you mean a NON security in your account?  A NON account on your Portfolio page, or what?

Non is the name Quicken gave the security.

When you do TOOLS, Security List ... why can't you simply click on the NON security and click DELETE to the far right of that line?

@NotACPA This is a Quicken Mac question, I believe.

@ddybel  When you look at the transaction register, is there a single transaction for "Non"? or more than one? Making a copy of your file before doing this, was aspens if you simply delete the "Non" transaction(s) from your register? Then it should allow you to delete the security (you can't delete a security in use by any transactions).
