OL 293 A errors with BECU, only impacts some of my accounts

I've been using Quicken since 1994. I'm getting really annoyed with their problems that come up after each update. These past 24 months, I've had so many OL-293 or OL-292 errors show up for one or another of our various accounts, typically through BECU, but sometimes Chase or Schwab. What gives with Quicken and their fixing something and breaking something else? My problems have always occurred right after one of their updates. [Removed - Off Topic]  Oh well. with respect to 293, is there anything that I can do to fix this on my end going forward, or is it all their problem, with how they interface with the banking institutions, so that I just have to wait, try again, and do reboot like for PCs?

    Hello @chasticsto

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to ask your question, although I apologize for any frustration that you have experienced thus far.

The causes of the OL-293/292 include:

    • A temporary server issue
    • Online services are activated incorrectly
    • Incorrect or outdated password credentials
This is an OL error meaning the account is using Direct Connect.  This means that
Your financial data is stored on servers controlled by your financial institution or by a third-party they connect with. Quicken does not have access to this information to be able to correct issues.

If you experience these errors frequently or have been unable to resolve the error following the recommended troubleshooting steps here, you will need to contact your financial institution to resolve this issue.  This may require you to ask to speak with an online services specialist that handles transaction download issues at the financial institution. If your financial institution states they can't assist, an escalation with the financial institution may be necessary.

I hope this helps to clarify!
