I've been unable to connect to my Chase accounts for a few days now. I disconnected and tried to reconnect the account but it says the Chase website is unavailable (it's not).

Financial institutions may continue intermittently blocking or restricting access to large third-party applications like Quicken for another day or two due to the increased traffic surrounding the federal stimulus payments. There's nothing Quicken can do if the financial institution is blocking access; all you can do is try periodically over the next couple days until things return to normal.

Based on the error message I take it that people are using Quicken Connect, which being an "aggregator" is subject to these kinds of things.  Personally I have my Chase Savings account and two credit cards setup as Direct Connect and don't have this problem since it is a direct connection between Quicken and the financial institution.

Sure, but Chase charges $10/month for Direct Connect. It’s not worth it that much.

Only for business accounts.  For personal accounts it is free.

    On https://www.chase.com/business/online-banking/control-cash-flow I see:

    > With Direct Connect PFM there is a monthly service fee of $9.95. There is no monthly fee for Premier Platinum Checking, Chase Private Client and Private Banking customers.

While the URL talks about business, references to “Platinum Checking” and “Private Client” are non-business checking accounts.

Do you have a reference about the personal accounts being free?

I can't find one, it has been a very long time since I even looked, it use to be buried pretty deep in the site, and as such most people just stopped at the mention of the fee.  I would suggest calling them and asking.  It is possible that they have changed their policies.  But certainly not for long time users since many of the people on here has Chase/Direct Connect without any fees.
