Provide comprehensive loan reports

It's so strange that Quicken offers no reporting of loans in the Reports section.
A small window loan payment schedule can be displayed and printed in the loan account but that window forces either the monthly payment or running balance to display - not both.
Why not both?  There's plenty of column space in a report for both types of data.
Ideally Quicken would offer some canned loan reporting in the Reports section.

Please allow a consolidated loan report that includes both monthly payment and running balance. Currently, 2 separate reports need to be created just because monthly payment and current balance are not included in the same report. Please put these to columns on the same report so that multiple reports are not required.

If you combine @leishirsute suggestion with this suggestion about being able to see how much interest paying additional principal on your loan has already saved you, it would be a very useful report:

I have been tracking the payment details, running balances, and interest savings from paying additional principal on my mortgage with an Excel spreadsheet. A combined report showing these details would enable me to retire the Excel spreadsheet.
