Ok I have been using Quicken for windows Buisness and Rentals for almost 20 years now. I do like the new Cloud App but is is limited. Would be great to get my Stock accounts and 401k account in the cloud too or move Quicken to fully Cloud based? Anyone know if this will happen?

Quicken Inc doesn't broadcast what they are working on, and anyone that would know like say an employee or a person in the beta wouldn't be at liberty to announce it on a public forum like this.

My general guess would be not in the near future, if ever.  At least as I understand your question.  You can already sync your investment accounts to the Cloud account, but it is only the cash, and number of shares in each security, no individual transactions.
So I take that you want individual transactions there, and that I don't think is going to happen.

What's more there your statement "fully Cloud based".  That I don't think will every happen.  It "might" happen that they extend what can be synced to the cloud account, but to completely separate, seems very doubtful.

There is tons of features in Quicken that you might not think of that would have to be ported to it first, like just creating the accounts, categories and such.  But even more important is that the majority of Quicken users like it because its is a "Desktop application".

I think you would have a better chance with the Quicken Simplifi.  It is already "fully cloud based".

Sorry for wasting your time. I see my investments. I did not see it until now.

Question about Quicken Simplifi can I import my accounts history into the app? Or my accounts from quicken?

I don't know a whole lot about Simplifi since I don't use it, but I do know that it can't import from your Quicken data file.
It of course has "online access" so it will fetch "recent" transactions (whatever that limit is probably by financial institution just like in Quicken).

I just did a quick search and it does say that you can do a one time CSV import in this article:

One note that even though there isn't any direct way to import your Quicken data file, it certainly occurs to me that you could probably export your register report to Excel and then change it up and save it as CSV, so that it will work with their CSV import.
