PNC bank download error CC-502

Will this problem be fixed very soon...I have not been able to sync data with PNC bank for approx 6 months. Same issue every time CC-502. PNC says its Quicken issue not theirs. Quicken appears lost in fixing this issue. Now they want me to "re-up" for $79 a year with this problem still happening. I don't think think so. Fix it by the end of the month or I am gone forever!

Problem persists from 1st quarter of 2020 till now 4/10/21. I've researched and responded to all the "cures" offered online by Quicken (none offered by PNC) without success - even additional malfunctions. Since my Discoverbank/card accounts function well, I'm sticking with - possibly changing to Discover.

    Hello @Jrallemeier

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. I do apologize for the issue as well. Currently we don't have any updates on the 502 errors with PNC. Given how sporatic it is I would recommend seeing if in a test file you're able to consistently update the account. If you are then it we could see about trying to fix your main file as well. I'll leave steps down below on how to do so.

Once you get the chance let us know what you're able to find out. From there we'll see what we're able to do next.

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco

Intuit continues to have difficulty maintaining the Express Web Connect connection method for Quicken.  If you are not willing to accept the unreliability of this connection method, I suggest you use the Direct Connect or the Web Connect connection method instead.  If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-quicken-connects-your-bank

Have been a faithful Quicken subscriber since "Quicken 98" how many years is that? Had been a PNC account holder in those days too,m they became "charge happy" so I left. Retired, back with PNC, what's with Quicken's inability to connect to this ONE financial institution. I will not re-subscribe, as I have done for guessing three decades! I advise others to do the same, until Intuit/Quicken resolves the issue.

Their tech support representative did accommodate me with a small refund, as the problem went unresolved for months following my last renewal.

Only the Express Web Connect connection method should return a CC-502.

What difficulties are you having using Direct Connect or the Web Connect connection method?
