balance in account list not same as account balance

I just got a new credit card last month. I have charged $868.64 to date, and that is correctly reflected in my account balance in Quicken. HOWEVER, my balance in the account bar shows as $2,177.42. Why? What's broken and how can I fix it?

    The account list can display either the current balance or the ending balance.  The ending balance would include any reminders.  That might be the difference.  If you right click on a blank spot in the Account List you can change this setting.
