Quicken - Windows version R33.24 Build 27.1.33.24 Not Allowing LOAN Account Set Up

Hello, I was trying to set up a new student loan account, but even when I go through the "Set Up New Loan" the system defaults to a Checking Account. When I try to use the "Edit Account" function under display options, the list does not contain a "loan" account type. Please advise how to add a new loan account

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize in the issue you're having. That is odd I'm wondering where exactly the issue is. I believe in this case it might help trying to see on a test file if we have a similar issue. This will give us a better idea of where exactly the issue is.
