I'm now being asked to enter a data file password when none was set.

Options
When I opened Quicken this morning I get a dialog requesting that I enter a data file password. I've not set any password.

If I attempt to restore the file the backup from yesterday requests a password also.

Help?

Generally, when Quicken asks for a password on a data file, it means the file is corrupt. What is the full path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file on the hard drive? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup? I would keep restoring backups until you find a good one.

That is what I figured and was able to do a restore that worked.
