Two weeks of data lost during update

Quicken updated when I started it up today. When the update was done, anything I've entered in the past two weeks or so was gone. I'm literally pulling receipts out of the trash and re-entering them. Shame on me for not backing up more often I guess, but shame on Quicken for yet another case of lost or corrupted data. Not a question, just a gripe. Get it together people!

    When Quicken updated, a automatic backup should have been created first in the BACKUP folder. Have you checked the folder?

    This is happening to me too. After EVERY update the data changes. I am now into canceling auto updates and doing a manual back up of the data before I initiate and update. But that is not the point. What is the update doing that it keeps changing the data.

    Are you talking about Quicken programs updates or One Step Updates that update your Quicken data?
