Hello,
I've started with the stater plan and now have upgraded to the deluxe version, however, the software has not updated it still looks the same. How can I updated it? (I've tried the checking for updated function still no difference)

The programs really don't look all that different. Let's check which version is displayed. Click menu Quicken > About Quicken. Right under the word Quicken at the top of this window will be displayed the version that is running. Does it still say "Starter"? You can also attempt to create a new investment account. If that works, then you are not running Starter.

If so, try logging out and back in. Click menu Quicken > Sign Out. Then sign back in at the resulting window and check About Quicken again.

If that fails, sign out again. Then sign into your account at quicken.com and download a fresh copy of the program, sign in, and check again.

    There are some videos here:

The Help menu in the program is very useful.

The differences between Starter and Deluxe are listed here: https://www.quicken.com/mac/compare These are the only areas of the program where you will see differences.
