I am currently running Quicken for Windows subscription. My wife has recently started to take money from her 403b, from a company which we have not been able to set up automatic downloads so we manually enter the transactions. I have read a few discussions concerning how to do the entry for this but do not understand how to do it, we are withdrawing $1000 per month and the 403b takes out $200 for taxes. Our bank shows the deposit to the savings account of $800 but I do not understand how to get the 403b account in quicken to show that $1000 was withdrawn from that account 800 to our account and 200 to federal taxes. I would also like to make this a monthly re-occurring event if possible. I am not an accountant so please make your explanations user friendly!
