How do I save a copy of my quicken file to my free agent drive?

When I try to save a copy it also wants to save a back up. I just want to save a copy to my exterior drive.

For unknown reasons, QWin R34 has eliminated the ability to do a just-plain-file-copy. Gone are File > File Operations > Copy and File > Save a Copy As.
You could do File > Show this file on my computer. After closing Quicken, use that folder window to copy the QDF file to your chosen destination.

Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.

You could also just do the backup to there, and know that if you can just change the .QDF-Backup to .QDF.  There isn't any difference between the two, Quicken just uses the different type to know that when you open a .QDF-Backup it is to prompt you for when to copy the data file before opening it.  And with a .QDF it just opens it in place.
