Can I load Quicken on my hard drive and not need the cloud

    There is no "cloud version".  Quicken on the Web is an adjunct to the desktop version ... and neither QWeb nor QMobile contain all of the data, or features, of the desktop product which is required for QWeb and QMobile to work.
    SO, simply turn off synching to the Q Cloud.

    Quicken requires an Internet connection to install and to download program updates (even if you don't want transactions to download).
    BUT, you posted this in "Quicken on the Web" ... which also requires an internet connection.
    The Q Cloud is also used to store some program statistics and the like.  SO, you can't completely disregard the internet.
    Please clarify.

    I am currently using the cloud version. I want to download the software to my hard drive so I do not need to access the cloud to use the program. Posted here because i did not see any more appropriate spot.
