how do I enter csv files

    In Quicken Mac, generally you don't. If you're looking to import transaction data from a csv file, that is not supported. Data from financial institutions must be downloaded in QFX format for import into Quicken. The only place where you can import csv file is if you have price history for a security you wish to import into Quicken.
