Does the stock price lookup work? Not for me...

Options
I logged into my subscription account because my membership will be renewing soon and I wanted to make sure Quicken has the right payment information.

Then out of curiosity, I tried the stock price lookup - I used the ticker AJG for one of my favorites and the response was that the stock couldn't be found. Seriously???

Than I tried looking up the price for AT&T using their ticker -> "T"
That gave me dozens of T Rowe Price funds as well as anything else starting with a "T"

I think you need to make a function like a stock price lookup work - BUT there are so many other useful stock lookups, why would you even bother? I certainly don't need it.

If you are referring to this webpage:
    https://www.quicken.com/investing/stock-quotes-investment-research

It looks like it searches names not symbols (and doesn't do a great job of that).  And yes, it is missing a lot of securities.

And if that is the webpage you are referring to -- it has nothing to do with your Quicken subscription.  You can get to that page without having the program.    The subscription program finds Arthur J Gallagher & Co off of the AJG ticker readily.

When entering T, the search brings back the first alpha sorted value T. Rowe... as it should - every listing for T. Rowe Price. Because at&t is too short using T, searching for at&t brings the expected result. This is an issue with at&t's use of a single character ticker symbol, not the lookup function.

Your correct, I got fooled by the fact that it has very incomplete list of securities.  Almost all of the securities I own aren't on their list.
