Unable To Stop Quicken From Trying To Download Transactions From A Closed Account

I closed a credit card account. I went into Schedule Updates and unchecked the account.
Quicken still tries to access the account during a scheduled update and reports an error accessing the account.
How do I get Quicken to stop trying to access the closed account?

    If you haven't already, I suggest you deactivate the Online Services of the register: open the register, press Ctrl + Shift + E, select the Online Services tab, and Deactivate

    I don't want to deactivate all updates -- I have a number of credit card, bank and investment accounts. I just wan to stop Quicken from trying to access Chase.

    @sherlock's instructions were for ONE ACCOUNT ONLY.  You misunderstood the several references to "the register".
    His instructions will stop downloads for that single account only.
