where do i find the password vault to access it

Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. We apologize for the confusion, but to clarify the password vault is available only on Quicken for Windows. For Quicken Mac, there is something similar which is the Keychain.
To access the keychain, you can open the spotlight search and type in "Keychain". That will allow you to add, edit, access your password(s) as needed.

When you search for "keychain" in Spotlight, the app you want to open is called Keychain Access. This is the app that macOS uses to store all Mac passwords, not just for Quicken.
