SOFI

Hi @MartinHowley .  Please confirm which edition of Quicken you are using.  You posted this in a Windows category but your profile shows you are using Mac.

It can make a difference because Quicken for Windows does not have a listing for SOFI or Social Finance.

We are not usually given any advance insight into pending changes to the FIDIR list.  They just happen when they happen and typically we find out at the same time that any other user finds out.

If, as noted above, SOFI is now available for download to Quicken Mac then I would think that at some time relatively soon it should also be available for download to Quicken Windows.  But that is pure speculation because there are some FI differences in the FIDIR lists between Mac and Windows.

That being said, whether or not a Financial Institution (FI) is going to be added or deleted from the FIDIR list is typically not something that Quicken initiates.  It needs to be initiated by the FI.  The FI needs to contract (and pay) for the right to use Intuit's/Quicken's proprietary format/process for downloading FI accounts data and transactions.  You need to ask SOFI if they will be supporting Quicken and if they will not then you should request that they do.  If enough SOFI customers make enough "noise" about it then perhaps SOFI will eventually agree to add support for Quicken.
