Is there any way to create your own QXF or QFX file?

I have been trying to download the Quicken format file from Vanguard the past couple of days, but have not been able to because of their system not allowing downloads. Is there a way to create a CSV or XLSX file, and then convert it into a QXF or QFX file, to Import into Quicken?

This is in relation to an Investment Account, so all the imports would be related to Buy/Sell/Reinvestments etc.

Try downloading the QFX file again.  Vangard has been having problems with the third party that handles things like their statements and as such all downloading of them hasn't been working.  But as of this morning it seems to be working now.

If you have a current Quicken subscription, you can connect to Vanguard via Direct Connect.

Thanks, but I actually do not have an active Vanguard account anymore (Account Balance $0.00), but I am trying to download old transactions to Quicken

Got it. I forgot to mention that I have closed my account at Vanguard, so I am not able to download any transactions.

Is the account really closed at Vanguard? My experience is that they keep inactive accounts around for years. You may only be able to access transactions up to 18 months ago or so. It is worth trying to connect if you have not already.
