Downloading securities into new account

Downloaded from Fidelity. Securities show up in the Holdings but not in the normal register display. Display does show correct cash balance and market value but no securities

    Notice that you have 29 "Placeholder entries," one for each security. Quicken created them because it doesn't know the cost bases of your securities. You need to resolve all the placeholders.
    They are hidden by default, apparently to make this process even more difficult than it already is, so the first thing you have to do is make them visible, using the preference shown below.

    Then take a look at online help for Placeholders to learn how to resolve them. The executive summary is that you need to provide the cost bases by replacing the placeholders with Buy or Add Shares transactions, but do have a look at the help.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.

    If possible, could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing, as I am having trouble understanding what you are looking at.  You can take a screen shot and then - after redacting any sensitive info - drag & drop the file into a message here in the Community.
