Golden One Transfer Between Accounts

For years I was able to make a transfer in Quicken between Golden One accounts and Quicken would ask me if this was an online transfer or just a Quicken entry (or something like that). I always used the online transfer option and then when I did an online update it would send the transfer to Golden One. Now this does not happen anymore. Is this something I have set up wrong or has this capability been lost in the latest round of G1 upgrades?

I suggest you verify you're still using the Direct Connect connection method and the financial institution's online bill payment service: open the register, press Ctrl + Shift + E, and select the Online Services tab

Assuming this is the correct financial institution in the fidir.txt file:
    22113    22113    22113    Golden FCU    https://www.golden1.com/    1-406-454-5600    https://onlinebanking.golden1.com/auth/SignIn?wa=wsignin1.0&wtrealm=https://onlinebanking.golden1.com/banking/&wctx=rm=0&id=passive&ru=/banking/    ACTIVE                   BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT    NOT_QBP    NA
Direct Connect and bill payments aren't available.  Maybe a recent change?

It says "Connection Method: Express Web Connect"

Yes, that is the correct financial institution. There was a change to the G1 connection a few months ago. It was a disaster, but they eventually got it sorted out and the transaction download does work now.

They switched from Direct Connect to Express Web Connect.  Direct Connect is much more reliable than EWC and allows your Quicken to "talk" to the financial institution where EWC does not.  Accordingly, you can't originate transfers or payments through Quicken.

Well that's too bad, but I understand. Thanks for the confirmation.
