why is there not an easy way to see a cleared balance in an account in Mac version?

Thank you for bringing up the subject of the various balance tracking features available in Quicken for discussion.

Unfortunately, a 'cleared balance' feature does not currently exist for Quicken Mac, but you can always recommend new features in the form of what is called an Idea post. These threads contain a proposal for some desired product feature that is then voted on by the Quicken Community and - should it prove popular enough - passed along to the development team for consideration.
