At first just thought it was a mistake. Deleted the account and added it back again and the same thing. The transaction dates line up, but the security is no where close to what my bank says the security is and thus my balances are NOT correct. A vangaurd fund is listed as Apple. Ummmm.....no.....I have never seen this and I do not want to manually change every transaction. How do I fix this?

Every fund download is just plain wrong.

What is the financial institution involved here?
The initial download of transactions with a new Quicken Account typically only goes back 90 days or so, (the time period is controlled by the financial institution, not Quicken), so unless the account at has been open less that time period it's expected that the positions in Quicken won't match what the financial institution says you own, unless you accept Placeholders into Quicken.
The misalignment of securities strikes me as odd.  When you set up the Account in Quicken did you enter the security holdings as of the most recent statement date, a step that's part of the Account set up?
