Can two quicken users share/download joint bank accounts?

We want two separate Quicken files but still want to be able for each of them to download transactions and send payments from the same joint banking account. Can we do this and any special needs/problems.

    You can have two separate Quicken files and be able for each of them to download transactions and send payments from the same joint banking account.  You just need to be certain they are distinct Quicken files by creating the additional Quicken files using File > New Quicken File... or File > Copy or Backup File... and choosing Create a copy or template.

    @sherlock would that require different bank login credentials for each file?  Since it is a joint account I am assuming there are multiple logins at the bank?

    It does not require different bank login credentials for each file.

    As long as you create two separate Quicken Data Files, instead of creating one and copying it to your other installation. And if you are using it in the same household, you can use the same Quicken User ID and password between both Quicken Data Files, not mentioned above.
