Schwab downloaded transactions disappear

For the last several days when I try to download Schwab transactions from an IRA, the update shows complete, says 16 transactions downloaded, but none show up anywhere. In the "one step update summary", if I click the link "1 account updated", it states, "16 new transactions downloaded" but also the next line states, "No transactions to review".

  • Hello @deriter

Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue with your Schwab account(s).

Could you please clarify whether or not you are receiving the red flag when you are notified of downloaded transactions?

I am looking forward to hearing your response!

No, there is no red flag next to the account.

    Hello @deriter,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about your issue and following up on @Quicken Jasmine's question, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.

If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
    4. Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
    5. Follow the prompts to Sign Out
    6. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password
Once that is done, see if the issue still continues to persist.

    I hope this helps!

@Anja - I followed your instructions to sign out and then sign back in. At the point where I was asked to select a data file, I selected the current file, but nothing happens. The file selection dialog box closes and I'm right back to the select a file window. After several tries, I closed that and went back to Quicken. Now when I try to download from the Schwab IRA, not only do no transactions download, but the One Step Update Summary says only "One Step Update Complete" and nothing else. It does not mention any downloaded transactions.

Also, I just tried downloading to the other two Schwab accounts that had been working fine. Now I get a similar problem. The One Step Update Summary says "2 accounts updated, 6 new transactions", but no transactions show up.

Signing out and back in has only made things worse.

    Thank you for following up.

At this point, I recommend reaching out to Quicken Support directly for further assistance and possible escalation if they see fit.

I apologize for any inconvenience! Thank you.

@deriter - Did you buy any chance get to a resolution for this. I opened a new account at Schwab and just linked it with all my others, and it originally downloaded 2 new transactions, but these were for transactions that I already had in the file, and it put them in the register rather than allowing me to match them, so I just deleted these transactions.

But ever since then, everytime I run one step up date, it says there are 2 new transactions downloaded but there actually are not, and I know there is nothing new in that account from today. I'm not sure what to do about this, but kind of looked familiar to what you had asked to curious if you found something.
