What is the Estimated Date to have USAA connect via the new protocol?

Since the latest update of Quicken I have not been able to connect to USAA using the new security protocol. It appears this is a Very Large Issue across Quicken with several financial institutions and one that Quicken might to want to RETHINK and revert to previous sign in protocol!

Thanks NotACPA, I'll keep that in mind next time I have an issue. Interestingly enough though, USAA started linking this morning. You must have some techy abilities you didn't realize🤗

@JR57 This is the first I have heard of USAA changing their connect protocols.  I suspect they haven't, and instead it is more likely that this is the same problems people have been reporting with USAA for some time now where it fails to work at times and works at others.

The only new protocol is Express Web Connect +, and if USAA switched to that you would have had to reauthorize in a quite different manner.  You can tell if your account is using Express Web Connect + by looking at the top left of the register, like this:

Note it has to have the + to be the new connection type.  Express Web Connect without the plus is a very old connection method that isn't very reliable.

BTW for the ones that are converting to Express Web Connect +.  It really not up to Quicken Inc, it is up to the financial institution, but Quicken Inc and their aggregator Intuit are fully behind the switch to Express Web Connect + so when it happens there is zero chance they are going to back out of that decision.

BTW USAA proves that the financial institution can even mess up Direct Connect.  It has been unreliable since they switched their security model last year.
