How do I view a report of purchases for a payee in a specific date range?

I have gone to reports and generated a report for a payee for a specific date range but it only shows a total within the date range not the dates and what I spent.

The Itemized Payees report should do what you want. Click on the gear to select the payee you want and click on the plus sign next to the payee to see the transaction detail.

Alternatively, there also is the
Easy Answer
report titled
"How much did I pay to ..."
which prompts you for the payee name.

Still cannot create a report YTD, Earliest to Date or Last 12 months, for a specific Payee

Simply click on the dollar amount of that report and all the detail will be revealed.
