I use Quicken basically to balance one checking account. Whenever I open Quicken, my home page is my checkbook register. Today I get a report page. How do I get my checkbook register back?

Unlike QWin, Quicken Mac doesn't have a preference to control this. At startup it will show you whatever you were looking at when you last quit the program. If you want to see the checking register at startup, you need to make sure that's what you're looking at when you exit the program.

To see your checkbook register, click on your checking account in the account sidebar. If you don't see the list of accounts on the side of your Quicken window, click on the little window icon right below the three colored dots:

Quicken opens to whatever page was open or in the foreground when you quit it. If you quit with the transaction register displayed, relaunching should bring you back to the same spot.
