DATCU - 2 Step Authentication required every day from the Quicken One Step Update

Options
Since ~ 1/12, 1/13, while running Quicken One Step Update, DATCU began requiring a 2nd step verification to either my email or cell phone. No issue with this from the initial date as most financial institutions require it. Issue is that DATCU continues to requires this 2 step authentication every day...Running current version R46.12.

    Hello @stevesjh,

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

If you haven't already, I suggest you try to deactivate all accounts for this financial institution, then force Quicken to "discover" all available accounts and see if this will help resolve itPlease, follow the instructions below in order to do so. Before doing so, I suggest saving a backup (just in case).
    1. Open the Account List in Quicken (Tools > Account List OR Ctrl + A)
    2. If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List
    3. Edit each account with this financial institution to Deactivate (or Remove From One Step Update) on the Online Services tab
    4. Click on the General tab and remove any info displayed in the Financial Institution, and Account/Routing Number fields. Note: The account must be deactivated first before these fields can be edited.
    5. When finished, close the Account List
    6. Close, then re-open Quicken
    7. Navigate to Tools > Add Account
    8. Walkthrough this process as if you were going to add a new account, providing the login credentials and answering any security questions/processes presented until you reach the screen where Quicken displays the Accounts Discovered at the financial institution
    9. Very carefully LINK each of the found accounts to the appropriate account you already have set up in Quicken.
Once that is done, see if the issue still continues to persist.

Let us know how it goes!

Ran the Deactivation and subsequent addition of the DATCU accounts (3 total). Procedure as outline above was executed but the One Step Update continued to ask for the 2 step authentication this morning overnight from the above deactivation/addition.
Appears to drop the device previously authenticated overnight, requiring DATCU to reauthenticate each day. I have contacted DATCU with this issue and provided them the Quicken Connection logs for their diagnostics.

NOTE....I did clean up my computers cache and deleted all the temporary files to ensure a clean start. When logging into DATCU via the web, it also required a 2 step authentication, but upon entering the validation code on the screen provided back, it contained a box to check if this was a trusted device, of which a checked. Via Quicken One Step Update
DATCU/Quicken didn't provide that option. Could be the underlaying cause....

DATCU technician had been in contact with Quicken who requested several of the Quicken logs which I provided them on 1/24. Since 1/26 this issue no longer occurs and appears to be resolved. DATCU said they had done nothing and were waiting on Quicken to provide back status (pending 2/1). From my perspective this has been resolved, just don't know by who or how.
