Hi - I have been getting the same error message with Fidelity Investments for Mac — no issue with Fidelity Net Benefits login - just investments. Deactivated the account - went through all the standard steps but still getting the same error.

I've been using Fidelity Investments for Mac for a long time. All of a sudden on Thursday, 1/30 it no longer works and you get the following error: "There was an unknown error trying to update this connection. Please try again later. (16503)".
I disconnect and try to reconnect and get the same error. What changed overnight?

Fidelity Investments Mac user here. It does not seem to be fixed yet, I get error 15500.
I also tried a reconnect, that did not work either.

It initially worked but two accounts were shown as hidden in Quicken (even though I never did hide them) so Unhid them. Then I could not sync again so I disconnected all the Fidelity accounts and tried to connect again and every time it says I must have entered the wrong password or id, but I entered everything correctly. So frustrating. For years I never had an issue connecting to Fidelity Mac. I removed anything in the keychain access related to Fidelity but that didn't help. I even tried to change my Fidelity Password and carefully entered my User Name and Password several times but keep getting this error.

I'm using the Fidelity Investments Mac connection type to pull in my Fidelity accounts with their transaction history (you don't get transaction history in the other connection).
It has been working for a few days (since I added it), but now it's prompting me to reconnect. But my credentials are rejected (they are correct, they work on Fidelity's website).
Is there an ongoing issue Quicken is seeing? Is Quicken working with Fidelity to move these connections to the latest supported type?

Fidelity Investments Mac is working fine for me this morning. I'd suggest complete disconnecting the account (if you didn't already do that), then start over and connect it anew. You may want to open Keychain Access and delete any Fidelity-Quicken entries there before reconnecting.
If this doesn't work, I'd suggest contacting the Fidelity web support team. I've found them to be pretty helpful. There may be something that needs to reset or reauthorized on their end.

Yesterday I was getting the error I reported above about the user name or password being incorrect. Tried several times. I waited a day and then it worked and I was able to connect the account to Fidelity Mac.
