I would like to see an option to synch Quicken/Windows or Mac with Quicken/Mobile for IOS or Android, directly by wifi, without storing any of my financial data in the cloud. I am certain that the Quicken people are being diligent about providing the best possible security for cloud-stored customer data, but in the last year we have seen many smart, diligent people fall victim to highly motivated and well financed attackers. I would just feel more comfortable with my financial data stored somewhere where I can be responsible for the security. Some of my favorite apps (MyLifeOrganized, SplashID) offer a cloud-based synch with a direct phone-to-computer wifi synch available as an alternative. There is generally some loss of functionality but nothing too too critical.

I see many comments from people who want it to all be on the cloud. That's fine, best of luck to you. Buit I'll bet you that a tool like Quicken attracts more than its share of users who would appreciate, use and even pay for a more secure alternative. I have friends who use WhatsApp for a secure conversation about where to get pizza and then put all of their financial data out on Quicken cloud without knowing anything at all about just how hackproof the Quicken Cloud might be.

My wife has enjoyed Quicken for several years. I manage the accounts and my wife does most of the purchasing. Candidly, the only thing I regularly buy is my lunch!

Currently, in our quicken online profile, I am allowed 1 phone number. When I need to authenticate, the system sends me a text message and I can authenticate and gain access to my account. Periodically, the app will ask for re-authentication for security reasons which are understandable, however, if my wife needs to reauthenticate, it will send the code to my phone instead of my wife's phone!

My wife uses the app to see where she is in the budget. All she wants to know is this, "Do I have money left in my budget". If she can't see the budget, she doesn't know - if she doesn't know - she'll either just buy it because we need it or not buy it and be frustrated. My wife will tend to make great purchasing desicions if she has all available information at her disposable - when and where she needs it.

Here's the idea: Add the capability for a second user or phone number. The app is useless unless we can access the information when we need it. I can't be the only guy that's going through this - Please make this change!

The Quicken Simplifi iOS app supports automatic importing of transactions from Apple Card, Apple Cash and Apple Savings, which can only be done on an iPhone using Apple’s FinanceKit API, which directly passes transaction data from Apple Wallet to the Simplifi app (rather than through an online aggregator like Intuit or Plaid). Because Quicken Classic for Mac (and Windows) is a desktop app not running on an iPhone, there is no automatic way to import Apple Card transactions and they have to be entered by hand or manually imported from a Web Connect file exported once a month. Please update the Quicken Mobile app for iOS to work with FinanceKit so that it can pull in Apple Card, Apple Cash and Apple Savings transactions (like the Simplifi app does) and then sync them to Quicken Cloud. These transactions would then sync back to the desktop file the next time it is updated and syncs with Quicken Cloud.

At one time, the Quicken mobile app downloaded transactions from investment accounts that are essentially checking accounts (e.g. money market accounts with checking account features). Several years ago this feature was discontinued and now the mobile and web versions only display total values for "investment" accounts. This is a huge inconvenience for me when I am traveling and can only access Quicken mobile. I have mentioned this to several Quicken support personnel and they confirm this is the way it is supposed to work. I am a 25 year+ user of Quicken and I can honestly say that this is the only real problem I have with Quicken. I periodically search for an alternate program that would have this feature along with all of the other great features Quicken has. Please consider changing this.

Hi, I am a 10+ year Quicken user currently using Classic Business & Personal. The desktop app is fantastic but I have for years found the mobile & iPad version to be severely lacking in necessary features. Specifically, it would really help to have the modules from the business section (invoices, clients, etc.) at least be viewable in mobile. And the mileage tracker would be HUGE to have available on mobile by its very nature.

I feel like this has to be a common sentiment amongst the users of this platform but I didn't see it being brought up, so here it is.

Thanks!

It does not sync investment transactions (specifically Dividend, Interest, and Capital Gain actions).

This causes a major discrepancy in the Mobile App's "Net Income" and "Income vs. Spending" reports. For users with significant brokerage or retirement income, the mobile reports show an "incorrect" net income because they exclude all investment-related earnings that are clearly visible and categorized on the Desktop version.

Requested Change:Allow investment transactions (at minimum, Income/Dividend actions) to sync to the Quicken Cloud so they can be included in the Mobile App’s Net Income and Spending reports, ensuring parity between the Desktop and Mobile dashboards.

I have a brokerage account with Fidelity that is also a checking account. Everything works correctly on the desktop app, but I found some significant problems on both the mobile and web apps. I noticed my budget totals were different across the platforms. Upon further investigation I noticed that none of the transactions from the brokerage account were being used in the consumed budget. In addition, I have a number of manual bill reminders using the brokerage account. Any reminders that are using the brokerage account are not showing on the web or mobile app.

Even more troubling is none of the transactions in the brokerage account show in the web or mobile app. All it shows are the share balances. The desktop has all the txns, so why are they missing in the mobile/web app.

I would assume this problem existing for anyone that has a checking/brokerage account at Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, or other investment firms.

At a minimum I should be able to see and categorize all my txns on the mobile/web app.

This means I have to use the desktop to review those txns and accept my reminders. The challenge is next year I will not have access to my desktop app because I will be mobile (hiking long trails) for 4-6 months. I will only have my cell phone with me. I can wait on the budget until I get back but the reminders and txns reviews are a problem.

Hopefully there is a workaround for this and don't tell me I have to break my Fidelity into 2 (checking and brokerage) accounts. Because I still won't be able to see transfers to/from the brokerage account.

Apple pay transactions should be brought into quicken app in lieu of having to manually key them into the app Then the apple pay transactions would be matched with downloaded credit card transactions in the desktop Quicken just like transactions manually entered into the Quicken app. I hope the Quicken folks incorporate this functionality into the mobile app and hope that the process of having the Quicken app and Apple Pay to each other is not an big deal.

I have several budget categories where Rollover is enabled. The Mobile and Web versions need to support this feature as well. Do not need the capability of enabling or disabling from Mobile/Web, can leave that feature on Desktop. Mobile and Web need to recognize that rollover is enabled on Desktop and show the budget amount for a current month with rollover from previous months.
