Dividend and interest income from brokerage accounts is a major part of my finances. I will not spend another penny on quicken for mac until they allow this.

Sorry, I'm not understanding what you want. What exactly do you want QM (I have 2017) to do? My downloaded brokerage accounts show the dividend and interest received. Are you looking for better reporting (that is a major complaint of many QM users).
