The past couple weeks I have been getting a barrage of emails which actually appear to be real that are offering Quicken subscriptions at a 60% discount. My instincts seem to indicate this is significant in a not-so-good way.
I closed an account and paid 20 dollars as a closeout fee by selling shares. When I downloaded this info from my custodian the data is recorded as a MiscExp. This shows -20 inv amt and -20 cash amt. I have two AMEX cards. I have been able to update both accounts using one step update for years with no problem. Suddenly both accounts were showing as needing to be reconnected. So after doing this, I keep getting error message that one or the other account can not be "found at AMEX and one step update should be disabled".
I have not been nor really intend to sync to the cloud but for the fun of it I turned on sync and got this. [Edited - Language] Can someone suggest what this means?
