In the investment account register, click on the gear in the upper right and select "Reconcile".

Other than that, I don't understand where you would see an "icon" for reconcile anywhere...including bank and credit card accounts.

That is, unless you put an icon on the toolbar.

The gear icon is missing. It used to be there and I would reconcile my transactions. Now it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. Thanks for your reply.

1 Download and install the Quicken 2017 R6 Mondo patch.

2 If that fails, I would uninstall Quicken using qcleanui.exe (NOT Windows uninstaller), reboot your PC, reinstall Quicken and install the Mondo patch again.

See if either of those two work for you.

The gear icon is missing

If you are using pop-up registers the action (gear icon) menu will be missing in investment accounts (it will be there in non investment accounts).
It has been a bug for many years.

Note reconcile can still be accessed by typing Ctrl+R.

Thank you. The Ctrl+R works. I just didn't understand why the gear icon had always been there until recently. Perhaps I have changed some settings. Will check the pop up register settings.
