i downloaded latest transactions for account (a); a red flag appeared next to account (a). when i selected account (a) quicken did not update "downloaded transactions"; when i went to another account (b) to update its transactions, the "downloaded transactions" for account (b) appeared with the correct number of transactions. the red flag from account (a) disappeared. when i went back to account (a) there were no new transactions posted. when i try to repeat the download (for the missing transactions) for account (a), i get the message "There are no new transactions available. however, investment balances and holdings have been updated. [OL-96-A]" the bottom left of the message box has the code [OL-96-B]. i have the qfx file for account (a); how can i get quicken to accept the transactions?

I can't find this error code in the knowledge data base of Quicken. Are you sure the error number is correct?
If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to chat with Quicken Support or call them on the phone and request help.They need to review the download log file on your computer to get to the bottom of this issue.
