What font size are you using as "Body Font" for this report?
When you get to the printer selection panel, click Printer Setup. In the next popup click Body Font. Check the font that you are using. I'm set to Arial Regular 9 pt. and the report preview looks OK with respect to Dates printing without truncation.

Have you set the report to print in Landscape mode?

Return to the same question. Font size set to 10. Printing Landscape has same size columns..
