In my investment account the cash amount does not reflect the correct amount in my portfolio. How can I correct the amount?

If you can't/don't want to track down the error, you can enter a manual Payment/Deposit type transaction to make the adjustment. You might use Payee name "Balance Adjustment" and same for the Category.
Also check (search) the register for a transaction labeled Balance Adjustment in light gray. This is an automatic placeholder transaction that Quicken enters to try to match up with the FIs records. But they can be wrong. If that's the case, you can simply delete it and replace it with a manual one of your own.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
