1) Click the Investing register in the sidebar
1a) Click the "Transactions" button at the top to switch to transactions (rather than portfolio) view.
2) Make sure the Symbol column is showing (if not, click menu View > Columns)
3) Click the magnifying glass, upper right, twice
4) In the dropdown, select Symbol
5) Type the security symbol in the search box
You should now be showing all and only transaction for the security whose symbol you typed. You can sort by any column by clicking its header.
If you want to view these in Excel or Number, click menu File > Export > Register Transaction to CSV file.
If you want to print this as a report, click menu File > Print.

I am using Quicken 2019(Mac) and I can’t find any thing that resembles your description. Possibly you are referencing a different version0

No, I'm referencing the same version.
One possibility: Is your sidebar (left side of the screen) collapsed? If so, click the ">" button to expand it. Or click the "$" button to show the account list.
I did leave out one step:
1a) Click the "Transactions" button at the top to switch to transactions (rather than portfolio) view.
If that still doesn't help, let me know and I'll try to show you some screenshots.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s0 -
Yes, it worked, I finally found the symbol column.
Thanks

It seems like that this would be a common report request, so should be set up in the Report menu.0
